Event Details

Join us on this date at the Jeffersonville location for a new Healthy Lifestyle Series with Dr. Angela Jackson-Brown, Ph.D.  The other dates in this series are:  8/29, 9/12, 9/26, 10/10, 10/24, 11/7, and 11/21.  For planning purposes, pre-registration is requested, but walk-ins are welcome.

The purpose of this series is to provide valuable insights and practical knowledge through engaging presentations, live demonstrations and tastings, highlighting a variety of superfoods and tropical fruits from around the world.

The presentation style aims to reflect the multiculturally diverse community, ensuring an educational and entertaining experience.  Everyone will gain knowledge on preparing nutrient/mineral-rich fruits and vegetables into delicious and energizing juices and smoothies which, in turn, will enhance one's daily diet, overall health, and well-being.  Furthermore, this series will explore the diverse cultures and ethnicities around the world where these fruits and vegetables are cultivated and grown.

In addition, Dr. Jackson-Brown will introduce a holistic approach to emotional, mental, and physical well-being, incorporating Yoga, Tai Chi, breathwork and sound frequency baths.  These modalities promote a balanced, harmonious, and diverse lifestyle.  These tools are designed to combat stress, promote self-care, and foster well-being and vibrancy, along with a sense of security, peace, unity, and love within ourselves, our families, and our communities.

Pre-registration is requested.
