A Tribute to Wayne Estopinal!

Join us on this date at our Jeffersonville location for a moving tribute to architect Wayne Estopinal by architect Steve Wiser!

Wiser was a friend of Wayne's for over 35 years and this will be a tribute to Wayne's architectural career.  This tribute is especially meaningful as it is being held on the date that would have been Wayne's birthday -- September 19.  Wayne died, unfortunately, in 2018, in a plane crash.

Wayne Estopinal was a proud resident of Jeffersonville.  While he could have lived anywhere in the United States due to his prominent national architectural practice, Wayne loved to call Jeffersonville his home.  He specialized in healthcare design and he also designed many civic-related projects for his hometown and surrounding southern Indiana communities.

Wiser is no stranger to our library and has given a number of talks here over the years.  Some of the talks on architects in his repertoire include Jeffersonville's Arthur Loomis, New Albany's Ron Stiller, as well as Louisville-based architects Joseph & Joseph and William Dodd, among many others.
