This presentation will connect steamboats to the issue of slavery before, during, and after the Civil War. It will
include information on how steamboats were used during that era, and the changes that took place over time.
Kadie will also include information on the overall subject of diversity of travelers on steamboats when riverboats
ruled the waterways of this country.
