Event Details
Jeffersonville Township Public Library presents local history librarian Diane Stepro with an overview of one of Clark County’s most infamous and mysterious crimes. On a cold day in November of 1871, the Park family was found at their home. Every family member was dead or severely wounded. Their ordeal was so notorious that it is part of a Smithsonian exhibit, yet no one is certain who committed the crime. 3 Black men were lynched for the attack, but little evidence links them to the crime. Who did it? History has left a few hints. To learn more, join us in the Center Program Room of the Jeffersonville Library. This presentation is recommended for adults
