Open Hearth Cooking Demonstration with the Musee de Venoge

Join Jeffersonville Township Public Library in welcoming representatives of the Musee de Venoge. Musee de Venoge is a living history museum in nearby Switzerland County, located in a French colonial styled home. Musee de Venoge staff will arrive in 19th century period clothing. The program will include a brief explanation of the styles of the day. But better yet, Musee de Venoge staff will demonstrate how past generations prepared food in the fireplace and program guests will be offered a 19th century treat to savor!
