Event Details
Join us on this date for a performance of Shakespeare's Villains, directed by the esteemed Martin French! Originally from Ireland, he now resides in Kentuckiana.
Shakespeare's Villains is a 45-60 minute play highlighting the villainy of some of Shakespeare's great villains, including familiar favorites like Othello and Iago from Othello, lesser-known fiends like Tamora and Aaron from Titus Andronicus, and surprise heel turns from Romeo & Juliet's Lady Capulet and Hamlet himself!
Between them, five actors play fifteen different villains and a variety of victims and bystanders through monologues and scenes taken from nine of Shakespeare's enduring plays. We will explore the inner workings and the outward actions of these rogues, and try to understand their mindset.
Break a leg, everyone!
