Program Description

Event Details

Join us on this date when our special guest will be Emma Finerfrock, Purdue Extension Educator - Clark County!

During this program, Emma will teach us about the popularity of plant-based eating, the health benefits, and the challenges in following a plant-based diet.

Emma will also be doing a food demonstration and tofu will be featured. This will be a great opportunity for those who haven't yet had the chance to try tofu before now or have been unsure of its taste.

Tofu originated in China and has a very mild, somewhat bland (bean) flavor. It's this blandness that allows the tofu to absorb the flavors from marinades to sauces.

Whenever Emma includes a food demonstration, she sets the maximum number of participants at 20 (pre-registration).
