Join us on this date for a spectacular jazz concert featuring the incomparable jazz great, JAMEY AEBERSOLD, in conjunction with SoIN BIG READ!
This year's SoIN BIG READ (September 22-November 1) is Player Piano, written by one of the greats - Indiana's own KURT VONNEGUT! Vonnegut was born in 1922 whereas the Big Band Era originated during the early 1910s and dominated jazz in the 1940s, which was when Swing was the most popular. This concert will be featuring music from the Big Band Era in recognition of Vonnegut!
This event is being funded in part through the generous support of a grant through Indiana Humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
