Blue-collar police officer John McClane (Bruce Willis, Moonlighting, all Die Hard sequels) travels to Los Angeles in order to reconcile with his estranged wife before the holidays. Holly (Bonnie Bedelia, A Joyful Christmas, Christmas on the Coast) works as a big-city lawyer for a multinational corporation and wants her husband's support. Meanwhile, Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman, Dogma, Galaxy Quest) and his friends crash the holiday party and interrupt John and Holly's reconciliation. Will John and Holly rekindle their marriage? Will Hans succeed at an American accent? Will Sgt. Al Powell (Reginald VelJohnson, Family Matters, 12 Dog Days Till Christmas) get to enjoy a Twinkie?
