Join us on this date for a Spooktacular Halloween Poetry Reading Event, moderated by Frogg Corpse, author, freestyle speaker, and poet!
This one-hour is for those who wish to recite their own Halloween-inspired poetry or perhaps a poem or two by a favorite poet. And we all know that a poem is meant to be read aloud to hear its subtle nuances and to deepen one's understanding of it. This event is NOT just for the poetry readers, but for ANYONE really who has a love for poetry or who is brand new to poetry and simply wants to hear it recited aloud!
Last year in 2023, we were honored to have this event moderated by Ron Whitehead, esteemed American poet, author, and activist. It is our hope that those who attended then will also attend this year and bring lots of their friends and family with them. It is a special honor for us to have Frogg Corpse with us again this year, but this time in the official capacity of Moderator, as well as Reader!
This year's event will be held once again in the Art Gallery Area of the library on the 2nd Floor.
Light refreshments will be available.
