Event Details

Join us on this date for our bi-monthly health program featuring Dr. Giavonne Rondo!

Today, the focus of Dr. Rondo's discussion will be on how a person who takes medication for blood pressure and/or diabetes can get off these drugs.  According to the Mayo Clinic, weight loss can lower your blood pressure and subsequently you may be able to either reduce or stop taking that medication altogether.  Maintaining a healthy weight can help in the management of diabetes as well. Other lifestyle changes with regard to blood pressure and diabetes include eating a healthy diet, being physically active, drinking responsibly, and not smoking, to name a few. Dr. Rondo will touch on these lifestyle changes and more, in her discussion.

Dr. Rondo is the sole practitioner of an adult-only practice called GObileMD. Her specialty is internal medicine and she has been practicing for over 21 years in Kentuckiana.

Pre-registration is requested for planning purposes.
