Join us on this date for the first discussion in our Bimonthly Health Series of 2025 with Dr. Giavonne Rondo!  The focus of today's discussion will be on Intermittent Fasting and The Daniel Plan.

In general terms, intermittent fasting is about WHEN you eat, not WHAT you eat. Of course, it doesn't mean that junk food should be consumed instead of food that is considered healthy and nutritious. What Intermittent fasting does is allow for a range of different foods to be enjoyed during a SPECIFIC TIME; that fasting a certain number of hours each day or even just eating one meal may have health benefits.

The Daniel Plan (40 days to a healthier life) is based on the book (2013) by Rick Warren, Dr. Daniel Amen, and Dr. Mark Hyman, and is simply more than a diet plan. It's an approach to achieving a healthy lifestyle by integrating 5 key essentials: Faith, Food, Fitness, Focus, and Friends.

Dr. Rondo is the sole practitioner of an adult only practice called GObileMD. Her specialty is Internal Medicine and she has been practicing for over 21 years in Kentuckiana.
