Program Description

Event Details

Join us on this date at our Jeffersonville location for this 90-minute class devoted to Art Boxes: Exploring Boundaries Through Creativity with Autumn Stevens. Stevens is the owner of Masterpiece Art Studio of Southern Indiana. She is excited to be able to offer engaging and educational art classes for all ages here at the library!

In this 90-minute class, everyone will learn how to create a Boundary Art Box. Art boxes are a visual and hands-on way to explore and express personal boundaries. The outside of the box shows the limits we set to protect ourselves.  The inside of the box represents the values we cherish. Materials that can be used to decorate the outside include paint, collage, or string and the inside can be filled with symbols of what you value and protect, like affirmations or items.

All of the materials used in this class are free to the participants.

Please note that parental attendance for younger participants is required

Reservations (pre-registration) are necessary (per the instructor) to ensure an organized experience for everyone.
