A Library Sponsored event, you will be entertained by an hour's worth of riveting and compelling materials:

In Indiana - losing his mother and sister, teaching himself to read, learning the value of hard work

In Illinois - the prairie lawyer years, his life with Mary and their sons, political aspirations

In Washington - Civil War tragedy and triumph, freedom for slaves and the brilliant speeches

Danny will talk, in particular, about Abraham Lincoln with regard to February being Black History Month, President's Day, and Lincoln's Birthday, and his talk will also include hilarity, heartbreak, and humanity from our greatest leader!

After his presentation, there will be time allotted for Q&A.
