Program Description

Event Details

Join us on this date when our special guest will be Abraham Lincoln AKA Danny Russel!

Danny Russel (www.famoushoosiers.com) travels the state portraying Abraham Lincoln and we're so pleased he can be with us on this date.

A Library Foundation-Sponsored Event, you will be entertained by an hour's worth of riveting and compelling materials - from Log Cabin to the White House - plus time for Q&A.

In particular, you will learn about Abraham Lincoln's youth in Indiana from ages 7-21. This was a time when frontier life was unsteady, disease a constant companion, and death a hovering presence.

Abraham Lincoln, our 16th U.S. President, was born on February 12, 1809 and died on April 15, 1865.

Registration is requested for seating availability.
